Peridot — Faceted 1.08ct

A vivid lime-green peridot with the electric, almost neon quality that top-grade stones display. Peridot is one of the few gemstones that forms in only one colour — its signature lime green is due to iron and cannot be altered by heat treatment.

Unusually, peridot has also been found in meteorites (pallasite) — making it literally otherworldly.
