Red Beryl (Bixbite) 0.5ct — Certified
Red beryl — also called bixbite or the "Red Emerald" — is estimated to be 1,000 times rarer than diamond. Found almost exclusively in the Wah Wah Mountains of Utah and a single deposit in New Mexico, facetable-quality crystals of even 0.1ct are exceptional. Its raspberry-red colour comes from manganese, the same element that colours pink morganite but concentrated to a vivid crimson saturation.
In the crystal healing tradition, red beryl bridges the energy of the beryl family's clarity and truth with the passionate life-force energy of red stones. Associated with the Root and Sacral Chakras, it is considered a stone of extraordinary vitality, creative courage, and the capacity to manifest the highest visions of the self.
